As much as I strongly agree with your post, I'm disappointed to see no one willing to engage in this conversation. I'll contribute, I think the right to own firearms and the right to self defense is universal to all Canadians, with firearm ownership dependent on demonstrated competence and mental capacity. Not perfect by any means but perfection is an unrealistic fantasy. I invite anyone and everyone to put forward their thoughs, this is a good conversation to have, don't shy away please.
