In order to increase the flow of refugees, one must create a crisis from which they are fleeing or create an incentive and corresponding "acceptance criteria" for them to "flee" to your nation. Which are we doing?
We already accept more refugees than any other country in the world (not even per capita - we accept even more than the states). Why exactly should we take even more?
Edit - looks like a couple countries, notably Germany and Turkey, take in more refugees than us.
