In my opinion won't happen.

We have one of the highest vaccination rates in the world. Higher than the US or the UK. What will happen is that premiers will switch from looking at just reported infections to cases which end up in a hospital. Same thing happened in the UK. They are in their "fourth wave" and they still opened up. The cases went up, but hospitalizations and deaths remained quite low. Same will happen here.

Will be another story in the US where you have states with only a third of the population fully immunized. That's why you now have even Republican governors begging people to get the jabs.
