It's called critical theory and socialism, they want the government to take care of them because they're oppressed. Race and ethnicity definitely plays a factor into this but we're not allowed to discuss it in this country because it will cause offence. The fact is that certain ethnic groups have a tendency to do certain things, but we're not allowed to talk about it.
I'm going to explain further, the highest poverty rates in Canada are Indigenous, Middle-Eastern, Korean, and Blacks. Everyone knows how Indigenous people behave, they keep blaming it on colonialism but in reality many of them make poor life choices and behave in a destructive way. Middle-Easterners, they're always causing a ruckus, don't let the appearance of wealth fool you, it's just an appearance, many of them arrive here as refugees. Everyone knows about the Black community already, we had those BLM riots last year, they keep blaming their issues on racial adversity, and then they go about protesting and making a ruckus.
In contrast this to the Koreans, the same high levels of poverty in Canada, but you don't see them causing all this ruckus. Many of them struggle to assimilate, but for the most part they're not behaving in an unruly or disruptive way, and many pursue higher education.
We're not allowed to state the obvious truth because it will make Canadians feel uncomfortable and Canadians don't want to hear the truth. Canadians want to live in a fantasy world dictated by Hollywood. This idea that anyone can just come and live in Canada and we're all going to have a wealthy diverse family like the Kardashians.
