Depends on who's running it and why. I have farmer relatives who use/are part of a long standing one and it's just fine. One who's catch phrase is "Food for people not for profit", that have a vegan hotdog stand in their parking lot and a yuppy, presumably organic coffee stand run by some soy boy looking guy, would probably be a bit too into the idea of a kibbutz and would most definitely be "suspect".
