Now it looks like for some reason, Trudeau had a private investigator to look into him. It's anyone's guess why, but this reeks of gestapo press repression stuff. Brown has been critical of Trudeau on several occasions, and we know that Trudeau practices repression against independent media outlets that criticize him (Rebel, TNC etc).

The way private investigators can give someone like Trudeau control over a media figure is by finding dirt on the guy, and then telling the guy if he doesn't give Trudeau positive coverage, the dirt will be exposed.
