Like, I don't get it? I'm not White either. I just don't get it. A Black person will support a Black person because they're Black, and a Brown person will support a Brown person because they're Brown.

It makes no sense to me. Is it for like publicity? I mean I don't get it. I have Black friends and Brown friends but they don't behave like this, but you many Black people and Brown people behave like this particularly in the media and academia.

I'm guessing its some kind of camaraderie? I don't know? They have something to prove? I don't support someone because they share the same ethnicity as I do, because it doesn't really provide any real benefit. It's a bizarre concept. If I happen to like someone's work and they share the same ethnicity as I do, its just a fun coincidence, but that's where it ends.
