This is insane. It's unacceptable that the authorities are letting aggressive protesters camp in front of city hall and are actually trespassing citizens and journalists who are following the law.
If I still were in Toronto right now I'd be down to go there as part of a counter protest. Not that I think a bunch of loonies in tents would achieve anything, but just to force the behavior of the authorities in the public spotlight.
Edit: I wonder what would happen if a rumor spread that these people are camping there because Billie Eilish is secretly scheduled to appear at city hall in a few days?
