The pictures Trudeau has with his female subordinates actually paint a vivid picture of why he's such a terrible leader and a failure as PM. He's always hugging, or standing too close etc like they're high school kids or something. That shows you that he has no concept of how boss/subordinate power dynamics are supposed to work. He just wants to be "friends" with everyone around him, rather than having these stuffy boss/subordinate relationships that just make everyone feel bad. He actually thinks you can run an organization like that because he's a child and has no life experience.

Bardish Chagger is a good example. See, when you as the boss try to act like pals with your subordinates, not only do you rob yourself of the authority to demand performance and obedience from them, you also shirk your obligation as a leader to respect the power imbalance and treat subordinates in the ethical way that leaders are supposed to, i.e. like not blaming your subordinates for your failures. It's easier ethically to shift blame to a lateral figure than it is to push it down on some subordinate who's weaker than you, because you're not abusing your authority when you shift blame onto a peer. That's the license you give yourself by shirking your obligations as a leader and instead treating your subordinates as peers. This is why that kind of "we're all friends here" command structure never works, and anyone with any life experience knows that. You only see children and dumb people attempt to structure their organizations like this.

This goes along with Trudeau's overall obliviousness to all manner of professional ethics. It's as if you took a child out of grade school and made him prime minister. This is what that would look like.
