We pretty much need the NDP to join us in order for there to be an election. And you have to wonder what they'd gain from giving the CPC a shot at governing, or the LPC of winning back a majority. The Bloc are doing it because they're on the rise again in Quebec and they stand to steal seats from the Liberals in Quebec over these corruption scandals. But the NDP? They're on the decline. Their performance in the last election shows that not many left-wing voters see them as a viable alternative to the Liberals. They're in the wilderness until they get a proper leader.
