Calgary is a clean city but downtown is tiny. Only spent a month there. -Ottawa is also clean, 10 minutes from Gatineau Park which is nice, decent small beaches nearby but also tiny centre neighborhoods (centretown, byward market, glebe, westboro). A minority of blacks, Chinese and Indians unlike the rest of anglo Canada. Restaurants aren't great and it's expensive. Lots of parks and bike paths. -Montreal is great for the chicks and nightlife but very corrupt, dirty and worst city in north america maybe to drive in. It's also more affordable than Ottawa. It's diverse and you'll find all sorts of people. Great restaurants. -Vancouver is incredibly beautiful. Port city by the ocean. Nothing compares. Amazing food and restaurants. But you're not going far with 50k. -Victoria island? Charming. Go there when you're 60 if you can afford it. -Quebec city: Charming again. Affordable and boring. Very racist against non french quebecers.
