The RCMP is already bloated and over-funded and their purview encompasses that of a dozen federal agencies in a typical country. The RCMP needs to have its purview restricted only to tradtional police work. Canada is one of the only countries in the world that gives its police force such massive purview and discretionary power.

It's time for the RCMP to be abolished. It's just sad at this point.
