You can either do what's necessary to earn this tiny fringe's approval as a "non-cuck", and guarantee you get spectacularly blown out in the election.

Or you campaign to win over the sane majority and get called a "cuck" by the fringe for your efforts.

Actually it's not much of a paradox at all. No candidate in their right mind would choose to appease the negligibly small groyper crowd at the expense of alienating the other 99% of Canadians. Why even bother running if that was your plan?


Edit: Ok downvoters, tell me what I've got wrong about this. Explain to me how alienating the mainstream by pandering to a fringe can win an election. Feel free to use the PPC's performance last year as an example.
