Kenny is just trying to stay relevant and keep the population somewhat happy until the next election.
A provincial police is absolutely something that needs to be done, especially after the RCMP fiasco in Nova Scotia, and should have been done after the illegal search and seizures in High River during the floods. But this is not 4D chess, this is a long over due step.
