Somehow that's morphed into "Delay the virus in perpetuity and stay locked down literally forever even though there's zero burden on our hospitals, and it'll be like this indefinitely since we'll never achieve herd immunity this way".

The Sweden model in the graph is what the rest of us were told was the plan too. But you notice how Sweden is recovering with two months to spare before the US election? That's why that model won't do for the Democrats or thier allies running foreign governments (like ours). The economy was Trump's greatest strength going into the election year, so the economy needs to stay in the gutter until election day. That's why "flatten the curve" has morphed into "Just stay locked down and afraid until we tell you otherwise and don't ask questions".

Now we're hearing credible rumors that this was an intentional attack by China, and we know China are in cahoots with the Democrats. So (if true) someone went to a lot of effort to destroy the US economy for the purpose of making sure Trump gets voted out of office in November. It would be an awful waste if the economy recovered from that before people went to the polls. Therefore everyone must remained locked down until then.

Mark my words, no matter who wins, this whole "coronavirus" thing is just going to evaporate once the election is over. So will the race riots.
