I also noticed that hospitalizations in Spain now are way down from their peak back in March/April. In the month of September, there were 16,462 new hospitalizations, 1349 new ICU admissions. In April, there were 65,975 new hospitalizations, 4,988 new ICU admissions. Prior to April (mostly in March) there were 51,418 hospitalizations and 5,872 ICU admissions. And yet the media says that Spanish hospitals are over-capacity again. Even though COVID hospitalizations in Spain are 25% of their April peak (27% of their April ICU admissions). While their ICU admissions now are basically 23% of their March ICU admissions. Makes you wonder if the scientists are full of shit. If Spain is over-capacity now, what the fuck do you call Spain in March and April when hospitalizations and ICU admissions were 4x what it is now?! Four Horseman of the Apocalypse?
