It's not the government who is forcing you socially isolate. You doing it to yourself.
Technically the Ontario government has "paused" social circles and are advising that people do not meet people from outside the household they live with. My girlfriend and I don't live together. I am not certain if the Ontario government is backing this up with fines and/or jail time though like Quebec is. Francois Legault is literally sending police into homes in Montreal and Quebec City to check to see if people have guests over.
Does anyone know if Ontario is fining people now for not social distancing from people they don't live with? In Mississauga back in April they fined 6 men $880 each for eating a pizza in their car because the 6 men were all from different households. Have we went back to this retardation? I hope not.
And if Ontario isn't putting fine/jail time teeth to this just yet, I am pretty sure we will be going the way of Quebec's restrictions soon.
