You are absolutely right. If Albertans are willing to go to war with Canada and its allies they can take that path. Keep in mind they have no military and no way of starting a military. There would initially be a mass exodus of the general population (upwards of 90% of the population) and then a bloodbath, the like of which the world has never seen.
