I think pretty much anybody who commits random acts of violence on strangers has some sort of mental issues, its kind of a given. They should report the facts, let the reader/viewer decide for themselves.

Did you know that Schizophrenics are statistically less likely to commit violent acts than the general population? They are more likely to be the victims of violence than the general population.

Men with PTSD who do not drink alcohol and do not take street drugs commit violent crimes at about the same rate as the general population. Alcohol and drugs is a Yuge factor in whether a person with PTSD commits violence.
