A cop can't arrest you with a bloody knife used in a murder and then take it home and bring it to the station the next day.. that is tainted evidence. A judge will toss the evidence and you will walk.

You can't count mail in ballots in secret with no observers. This is because once you remove the envelope the mail in ballots come in, with the signatures and names etc, those ballots cannot ever be verified again. Those are tainted ballots. A judge will toss those tainted ballots. It's the law and it's pretty fucking simple.

That's the lawsuit that the Trump campaign is going to bring to the Supreme Court on Monday. They have over 50 poll watchers that were denied being able to watch the count. You can't deny entry to the poll watchers. The poll watchers are there to verify signatures and names etc, before those ballots go into the pile and become anonymous. No matter what the reason you come up with this is part of the process and cannot be skipped. You might as well not be counting those ballots at that point.
