I had to teach my children everything about Remembrance day because our public schools just made them colour poppies and told them it was about peace. They didn't even know of the world wars and the thousands of local young men who bravely went off to war. They aren't even having a service at the local cenotaph because of covid. The direction this country is heading is very sad.
