This immigration thing really does have a really dark side, much like most other things that the government says is good for us. I can see right through it. I know that many other people do as well, but I often wonder why so many other people are falling for the bullshit. The increased competition for everything from housing to jobs makes people have to rely more and more on luck rather than on skill, hard work and persistence... and I don't like it.

This recent immigration foray is really an experiment. The proposed numbers are at near record highs. The people that come here are expecting a lot from us. It may not work out as well as the government assumes.

The co-habitation and kids thing gives me chills. Because I see a woman with stay-at-home mom ambitions in an expensive two-income world.

I wouldn't say that I'm a MGTOW, but as I get older, I see things more clearly and I realize that it's ok to fuck up when you're younger because you have time to recover from it. But, not so much when you're not a kid anymore. Getting involved with any woman is risky, and if you're established at all, it's in your best interest to find a woman that has the same to lose if it falls apart. But, that's a difficult task...
