He's not implementing any policies. He is virtue signalling about it. Zubik v. Burwell was ruled in May 2016. Trump wasn't president in May 2016. Obama was.
Absolutely wrong. Firstly, Trump responded with an executive order to prevent this from happening again in the future. He is supported immensely by Protestant, and Catholic, religious. He is openly welcomed in mainstream Christian publications. Second of all, he has invited openly pro-life organisations into his advisory cabinet. Third, he even penned two executive orders to end human trafficking, which no other American president had done.
When Donald Trump took over as President in 2017, one of the first Executive Orders he enacted was to order the HHS to issue a ruling to allow for conscious objections to the mandate, which was published in late 2017 that allowed for for-profit religious organizations to claim exemption from the mandate on religious or moral grounds. This led to numerous state seeking further legal action on the new rules that lead to another Supreme Court case, Little Sisters of the Poor Saints Peter and Paul Home v. Pennsylvania, which was heard in May 2020. The Supreme Court upheld the rules on a 7–2 decision issued in July 2020.
The church is responsible for these closures. Not Conservatives.
Who sat and did nothing while liberal activists changed our social values, took control of the courts, and the education system, and was complicit in said closures.
People like Maistre would have killed all non-Catholic Christians if they had the power at that time. They are not Conservatives. They are Catholic traditionalists. Nothing more. You are conflating Catholicism with Conservatism.
Absolutely not. Maistre had no intention of killing non-Catholics. What an absurd claim. Maistre spent a lot of time in Russia surrounded by Orthodox Christians, and he did not go around killing them.
Spoken like a true city Conservative, raised by 4chan and unable to survive two days in a rural town in the Prairies.
More like a practicing Christian who goes to church weekly, reads the Bible, prays, and reads conservative publications.
You are nonsense. My goodness, if you are representative of Canadian conservatism then we had no chance of conserving anything to begin with.
