This is basically the globalist wet dream.
One world government, with massive, sweeping wealth redistribution.
They're putting out ads and videos alleging that people will be happy with what the WEF leaves them with. But, they do not state any methodology or timelines at all. The reason is that when a government takes what you own, bans you from any future ownership and raises your taxes threefold, there will have to be enforcement to give birth to the regime and keep it going. As such there would have to be a policing/military aspect to enforcement. Probably something like martial law.
-
Some leftists would sign on in a heartbeat.
-
Others will think, "Well, I don't mind renting now, and I had no plans to buy a home anyway. But, what if I want to in the future?".
-
The rest would be totally against it.
The latter two groups of people would have to be forced to comply. Otherwise, you end up having two classes of people.
- Those that are banned from ever owning property
and
- Those that bought at the right time, held onto it, and are now part of the elite class.
If people don't have a choice, then the government is basically a dictatorship. If you cannot own anything, and you are only allowed just enough to survive, then it's also communism. A communist dictatorship. Then, you need prisons to house the people that resist.
Certainly, not all countries would sign onto the scheme. Would they be allowed to be autonomous? Or, would they have to be subdued and made to comply? Would the tensions lead to an arms build up? Maybe more?
We all know how this would end.
