Recently retired NHL enforcer Tie Domi committed adultery with Liberal MP Belinda Stronach, and told his estranged wife that if she kept quiet about it he would give her money and a house, she alleges in court documents.
Leanne Domi will seek spousal and child support from Tie Domi's $1-million annual income in Superior Court in Toronto on Tuesday, though neither party is obligated to appear in person.
In Leanne Domi's application for divorce, filed Sept. 18, just one day before Tie Domi announced his retirement from the NHL, she alleges her husband's "intimate sexual relationship" with Stronach caused their marriage to deteriorate as well as his relationship with their three children.

A sombre sounding Peter MacKay said he never saw the defection of Belinda Stronach coming, adding that it has left his heart "a little banged up."
"I think I was like everybody, I was shocked. I didn't see it coming. I had no idea. I knew she was unhappy," MacKay said from his father's farm in Lorne, N.S.
The pair had set Parliament Hill abuzz in January when it was revealed that MacKay and Stronach were dating.
When asked if he had broken off his relationship with Stronach, he said: "I haven't talked to her. That part of this is deeply hurtful and deeply personal. We'll see what happens."
