Meat prices go up, hundreds of articles are published about why it is good that meat prices are going up, and advocating "a meat free lifestyle." The average braindead Canadian will start buying less meat and repeat the talking points they saw on CBC or heard on the radio or read in the Toronto Star.
Then the media and government will either impose restrictions on the meat industry or the industry will be forced to cut back cause of the artificially created lack of demand. More "hack attacks" can follow whenever it suits The Powers That Be.
