If I had UBI I'd become so much more productive, personally.

I want it to work too, but I have also, well "worked" and BTFO my body doing it .. It feels like the system is set up to deny me opportunities and I do realize that not everyone is a self-motivated worker like me and it'd fail.

I mean I remember the big promises of the 80s and 90s about how tech was going to revolutionize the workplace, and not being allowed to do my job remotely because "sure, you might work but no one else will and you can't be special" was the canned response.

GOD I want to go back in time to some of my old jobs in PJs now LOL!
