"corruption in the cons is comparable"

It's not even in the same fucking ballpark. The Conservatives see occasional, sporadic cases of errant corruption that get squashed immediately when discovered. The Liberals are top to bottom, wall-to-wall corruption all the time. It's their trademark. It's what they're all about. They're a clique of Laurentian elites who consider themselves "Canada's natural rulers", and use that entitlement to help themselves at the public trough which they feel is their birthright. That's the accurate description of who these people are.

You know why older demographics tend to vote Conservative more? It's because anyone old enough to remember the previous Liberal government(s) knows that they're the party of corruption. In the minds of people with a decent frame of reference, "Liberal party" is synonymous with "corruption". Now you know why. This cloud of corruption the Liberals are under right now is par for the course with that party. They always do this shit. Every time. It's all they do. They literally started stealing within days of getting elected in 2015.

What does that tell you about their level of entitlement? They get elected and they immediately start stealing. The very minute they get access to the purse strings the start stealing like it's nothing at all.

If there was a shred of justice in this country, that party and all of its members would be ejected from politics forever, but of course they own the courts too so they get away with murder.

It's so fucking bad that when Conservative governments take over they have to write laws to try and prevent the kinds of corruption the previous Liberals got up to. You watch, when O'Toole is PM, he'll pass a bunch of laws or changes to laws that will discourage conflicts of interest and strengthen the rule of law because the previous Liberals were (again) a bunch of crooks.

why would I ever vote for a party that views me as less than human?

  1. They don't. That's your imagination.
  2. Spare us the "but that party dehumanizes me!" crocodile tears. Your party is the by far the worst offender when it comes to dehumanizing the other side.
