The Tory blueprint has limited appeal in the urban metros of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Which contain a fuckload of seats. That's why they keep losing. The Tory strategy appears to be to do the same thing over and over again until the moderate Liberal and independent voter gets sick of Liberals. As we've seen in Ontario where the Ontario Tories finally had a kick at the can after nearly 15 years of Liberal rule.

Poor millennials in urban metros who give a huge chunk of their paycheque to their landlord because of the crazy housing bubble, can't afford to buy a place aren't going to look at Harper and think "yeah I'd like to re-up that plan for another 4 years please." I hate the Liberals but I don't feel like I get anything out of voting Tory either. Lots of young people don't vote because they feel the same way.

Trudeau sucks. Jagmeet sucks. The black trans bald Jewess of the Greens sucks. But young people are not going to be excited for Harper, Scheer, O'Tool either. And we are a growing segment of the electorate. Meanwhile there are a lot of low IQ young people on r/onguardforthee who think that Trudeau, Jagmeet and Ann-Marie Paul or whatever the fuck xir name is have their best interests at heart (hint: they don't). And with Tories backing lockdowns, they just squandered their only real opportunity to appeal to young people.

I don't agree with right-libertarians on economics but I would probably vote PPC in the next election solely because they are the biggest federal party that opposed the lockdowns. I'm more left-libertarian in the sense that I believe that the worst impulses of human greed need to be corralled. Canada's wealthy are sending their capital overseas, shipping jobs overseas, propping up the housing bubbles, lobbying for scabs to come here. I don't want to give unconditional tax cuts to these fuckers. The wealthy elite have no loyalty to Canadians. The problem is that our government is corrupted by greed too and are bad stewards of money too. Look at all the construction of luxury condos in the GTA. Where is the construction of affordable housing?
