https://data.ontario.ca/dataset/bed-census-summary-bcs

The Bed Census Summary contains information about Ontario hospitals that includes:

  • the number of inpatients admitted and discharged

  • deaths

  • type of beds for each service delivered

  • the number of "capacity and staffed" beds available for treatment

This data has been made restricted (not available) by the Ontario Government.

I have been able to find Bed Census Data in printed tables (scanned PDFs) from the early 1990s to 2000s, but nothing from the past 5 years.

It would be an easy comparison between to make between 2020 and previous years to see how many people were admitted to hospital, and how many ICU beds were utilized.

Roman Baber has a 2 page report where the Ontario Ministry of Health indicated that there was no increase in ICU occupancy rates between 2018, 2019, and 2020. In fact, there was a decrease in the 2020 ICU occupancy rates compared to previous years (previous 3 years). He went on to say that lockdowns should be ended immediately as they cause more harm than good.

Even the former Ontario Chief Medical Officer sided with Roman Baber regarding his statements.

I wonder what an Official Information Record Request made to Health Canada requesting records of ICU occupancy rates for the past 5 years (including 2020) would yield?

Finally, "Elective" procedures and surgeries for Cancer and Heart Disease get cancelled during these "lockdowns", despite Cardiovascular disease is the highest cause of mortality per annum.

And yet, not surprising, 78% of those hospitalized for "Covid" are obese or overweight.

2018 - Flu in USA - 23 Hospitalization per 100,000 people https://time.com/5106819/nico-mallozzi-flu-death/

"This year, the flu shot was only about 30% effective against the H3 virus, according to CDC estimates. As of the agency’s latest assessment, the entire continental U.S. is experiencing “widespread” incidence of the flu, resulting in almost 23 hospitalizations per 100,000 U.S. residents."

2020 - 2021 - "Covid" in USA - Peaked at 20 Hospitalizations per 100,000 people (Jan 2021).

  • Was only at 10 hospitalizations per 100,000 during the first wave.

  • The curve PEAKS at 20 Hospitalizations per 100,000 people in Jan 2021.
  • At start of Mar 2020 to Nov 2020 it does not exceed 10 Hospitalizations per 100,000 people (the supposed First Wave)
