With a bright young lady who I've known since she was 15.

Shes about 20 now, is home for the holidays and helping out at my small business.

She is a visible minority and told me that the girls she rooms with at university don't like her because she doesn't hate the police.

Her roommates are white and they called her racist for not jumping on board the train.

We had a brief chat about how not everything in life is as easy as 'clicking like' on a social media post and about how there are multiple layers to every news story.

And about how its hypocritical to pursue a higher education at a major university, but jump onto the current popular train of agreeableness without thinking it through for yourself.

That right there is the difference between growing up rural as a minority and growing up suburban as a white girl.

Couldn't be more proud of that young lady, and it honestly gave me quite a bit of hope for this country's future.

I just spent an hour jumping through hoops to get a faggit account, to get timed out after 1 post.
