The dude just refuses to LEAD. He's getting blown around by every single news story. He's going on a "Vigil" tonight. Where was he when leftists were tearing down statues in Toronto and fueling division in this country. He needs to be on the ground, at these protests calling for peace. He's talking a big talk but THERE IS NO ACTION.
They found an 80 year old graveyard (supposedly). Where was he on that file last week? He should have been able to say he had already been talking to Native leaders and what they want from him when he forms government, unlike Justin. but because he's been caught flat footed, he has to go along with whatever hysterical narrative the media calls.
Pierre is making headway against Carney, but who else is doing anything? Singh is driving the narrative around here, saying despicable and hateful things.
He knows what the topics are: Indians, "Climate", re-opening and "white supremacy". He has to pick positions and ride them too the end. He has to call out the lies of Singh and Trudeau and not apologize. He has to go real over feels, and go negative and fast, otherwise Canada will be gone and it's won't matter if he destroys the party or not.
Right now he looks like a massive fag.
My kids have also only been off school and extra three weeks this year.
Guys, this is getting out of hand, and I agree, it’s time for moderation… as in time to be a little more moderate.
I’m probably one of the longest regular posters in this project. I came over to Metacanada the very first day. Before there was even a full page of posts. That place was built to escape the tyranny of r/Canada moderators, and talk about conservative issues and opinions without the threat of bans, downvotes or removals. It also quickly became a forum to “shitpost” about what was going on on other subreditts, and then Liberalism and Progressivism in general.
The moderators always took a more hands-off approach, where they would always say that if it didn’t break Reddit’s rules, it was fine with them. We came over here because those walls were closing fast. At no time do I recall any promise or movement to allow “anything goes” content once we came over here, it was largely to continue as we had for years before without having to worry about the Reddit admins.
Hammy and I have had our differences in the past, and he even banned me once. Even now, our philosophy differs a bit as I see my participation in Omegacanada as part edgy creative writing exercise, and part text-based game of charades where you can mime out what everyone is thinking, but nobody is saying. I find great sources of humorous inspiration in pointing out the media’s hypocrisy over issues like tiki torches, Rhodesia, BLM, “refugees”… but I try not to post much about them anymore, unless they lend themselves to a particularly spicy meme. Why? It has all been said already and it distracts us from the goldmine of clowning that is our own Liberal and progressive elite.
This site acts as a mirror to Canadian media. They love Trudeau, we hate him. They love their leftist agendas, and we hate them, so it is only natural to want to do the same thing about “race” issues when the media is blasting it in your face 24/7. Guys, we are going to have to rise above it here.
I don’t post cake recipes her, I don’t post Atari cheat codes, I don’t post fashion tips…nobody does. It’s obvious why not. It’s not the place for it.
This place is no more for racial slurs, identitarianism, or hate than it is for that stuff.
Just cool it, and as Hammy says, if you can’t handle it, just leave. Don’t debate him, don’t call for his ouster, just go. There is a .win RIGHT NEXT DOOR that allows all the content that you want to post. They seem to love it, and that seems to be the place for it.
