Yeah there has to be change or it will all fall apart. I honestly don't think Ottawa will listen and that is what will happen.

to answer what means to be Canadian it really just means trying to be contrarian to the US at this point. that is the only identity there is. it is really sad to see how many people get caught up in this. it makes me cringe how even the right wing in Canada buys in to that. i am an American and imo conservatives in both countries need to be working together if we want to survive.

imo due to demographics and geography i think there is a better chance at peaceful separation than in america where there will almost certainly be war
