There's a metaphor equating difficulty in obtaining information to peeling an onion.
The Liberals have bushels of onions that they've hidden in whatever nook or cranny they can find. These onions have been stapled, pinned, superglued, stitched together then wrapped in several layers of plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
Finding these onions is a difficult enough task as there are few journalists with any integrity left never mind the pack of criminals in the Liberal caucus.
