Texas is overrun with illegals and POCs. The state will flip and go for Dems at the presidential level within the next couple of cycles, a bit like Colorado did.

My preference is for Alberta/Prairie independence.

The affordability stems from the ratio of prices to incomes. The salaries there much better pay for the housing.
