What’s an average Canadian wage these days? $60K, so $10000 in tax or so back to the government? Completely unsustainable.

They never said anything about shutting down the other charities / businesses. Just the one.

So not only are they diluting gasoline with less energy dense substitutes (ethanol) they are using perfectly good food to do it.

By lowering the energy density of fuel, you need to burn more of it. Number 1, more litres purchased means more carbon tax. Number 2, manufacturers need to compensate by making even more fuel efficient vehicles by running the engines in more extreme conditions (driving up nitrous oxides, which is the root cause of Volkswagen’s cheating) or switching to more exotic alloys to reduce vehicle weight. More exotic alloys need minerals from mines from places where they don’t give a shit about emissions, and then ship them half way around the world to be made into car parts.

It is far more environmentally responsible of me to continue driving my 15 year old truck then it is to buy something new that has pieces from all over the world and has all that hidden emissions from the manufacturing.

It’s cheaper and there’s more potent weed from your local dealer then there is at a legal store.

The government can’t sell weed competitively with the black market, how are they going to sell other drugs and break the gang networks?

“This is unacceptable to us, this is not something we want to see in our community,” he tells NEWS 1130. “We should be approaching people with out-of-country plates with a level of understanding. As Dr. Bonnie Henry has said, ‘We don’t know their stories.'”

I have an even better idea. Mind your own fucking business.

Everyone is so fucked in the head, it is like people are in a covid-fear trance

This exactly. Everyone is a coiled spring and will let loose at anything. Suicide is up, alcoholism is up, opioid use is up. Our leaders have whipped us into a fearful state over a virus that is slightly more dangerous then the flu. What would happen if we got a real killer like the plagues of old?

Is this some kind of copy paste error when you take from a PDF and drop it into something without table support? Or did someone actually type it out?

Yes and no. A lot of that money was used to buy up bonds an debt such as mortgage securities. So the money isn’t in the system directly, it’s used to keep the sinking ship afloat. But that money will get into the system eventually, so yes, inflation is coming, just not this minute.

Money isn’t an asset to the central bank, it’s a liability. So their assets going up means their liabilities (money) has also sharply increased.

Not even canned stuff, or basic staples like pasta or rice. Those items are dirt cheap and can usually be bought for pocket change.

The best way to get a person to sober up and get clean is give them a reason to get up early in the morning, and send them home in the evening too tired to get up to no good.

Benefit is 400 a week. My salary is pretty much the Canadian average, I put 500 into the system twice a month in taxes. It will require 1.6 workers paying into the system for every leach. I suspect we are below that ratio, and it doesn’t account for all the other government spending there is.
