I'm not sure whether he's a coward or if he's just thick?
Jagmeet Singh breathlessly explaining to the press conference that he'd called about how he'd just secured the first federal sick leave policy was something else.
He legitimately looked proud of himself, like he'd accomplished something. I actually think the dumb cunt thought he'd got what he'd requested.
He obtained a promise from Trudeau to address the issue with a bill after they support a confidence motion and Trudeau already has a full set of legislation good-to-go. When does he think this is happening? April?
That's even if it happens. He's had at least two "progressive bills to help the poor" shot down because they intruded on provincial autonomy and the premiers said no. What are the chances that happens again? 98%? 99%?
I'm not ruling out him being conniving enough to know the NDP are short on funds should there be an election, and craven enough not to seize an opportunity but I'm not even sure if the stupid prick has that in him.
What a dumb cunt.

It's always a tragedy.
I can't stand the tent cities, theft and dirtiness more than anyone else but never forget that these were Canadians sucked into a vicious lifestyle then killed with poison that came from a communist regime.
They all could have been redeemed had they lived.
There's tons of ex-junkies out there doing their best to show penance for their former life.
Man is a fallen creature. We're weak and tainted, but we all possess the potential to do good and seek redemption.
An overdose is a tragedy. It's the loss of someone who had the potential for redemption but didn't live long enough to be able to redeem themselves.
Fentanyl is a fucking sin.

That sounds like the talk of man who has never been Champion.
Champions need to defend their championships. It's a matter of honour.

He only won't if he gets an immediate election and wins a majority.
He may have been teflon so far, but some scandals are too big to ignore.

Who would have thought that pussifying the game, eliminating the 2-line pass, calling Don Cherry racist and replacing him with a diverse gender-balanced panel of reporters who know nothing about the game, embracing BLM and kneeling for the national anthems, and having the only 2 black people in the league call hockey, hockey players and hockey fans racist would backfire?
Being an NHL fan is out-of-reach of the average Canadian. A Leafs jersey costs $250, and a ticket costs about that. So if you want to buy your kid a jersey and go to a game, that will cost $1000. Before taxes.
If you can even get a fucking ticket.
Junior Hockey costs less than a third of that, and the players actually want to play and care about their community.
Fuck the NHL. This year was the last straw.

I'm not sure I believe that.
If there were another lockdown while people had run out of CERB without the transition to EI being voted in, they'd be freaking out.
There was 9 million people on the CERB initially, and roughly 6 million of them actually needed it.
Trudeau had 6 million total votes in the last election. Singh had 3 million votes.
9 million votes wouldn't just be enough for a majority, it'd be enough for a clear mandate.
If Singh has any instincts he'll take the gamble. He could definitely win a majority if he dropped parliament based on the throne speech.

That'll be half of what happens on Boxing Days once the parents who bought the Xbox One X instead of the Xbox Series X hit the return counters.
There will be blood.

What actually scares me is that we haven't truly seen the riots yet.
We just saw the preliminaries. Where they showed what a mob can do, and the destruction they can wreak once they go fucking nuts.
Rose City Antifa just provided the template to the entire US, people now know that they will be able to get weapons if they show up, they know how to trash buildings, they're aware of the amount of shit they can loot and they know that there's a bail fund.
All that went down was the reaction to the deaths which got almost universal coverage in the media and were all declared loudly to be injustices and that the police officers would be charged as murderers.
Every single one of those cases are going to a grand jury over the next few weeks, and in every case the charges are complete bullshit and it's been proven that the police did nothing wrong.
No grand jury will move forward with the cases. All charges will be dropped and there will be media outrage, and feigned outrage from the DNC.
That's when we see the full-on US riots. We haven't seen anything yet, this is going to get very, very bad.

That's the second fucking time I've seen a US politician shit themselves during this election period.
Is it just me or does it seem like the group of politicians beloved by boomers has been in power ever since the boomers were old enough to vote?
Nadler, Biden and Pelosi have been in their government for over 40 years. I have watched 66% of them shit themselves live on camera within the past six months, and I wouldn't be surprised if Pelosi did the same.
I think we'd be in the same boat if our boomers didn't worship US politicians rather than Canadian.
This is the worst US election I've ever seen, and I hope that Trump declares himself to be Emperor when it's over. I never want to experience a year like this again.

I bet he'll have a Thanksgiving though.
He's probably going to post some photos of him enjoying it to his social media again.
"Thanksgiving is cancelled. Just like Canada Day and Easter. Now behave or I'll cancel Christmas."
This is getting ridiculous. Fuck Trudeau.

He's also one of the biggest scumbags on the planet, never forget that.
The shit that came out about his kid today was completely fucked. He was clearly taking bribes from the Ukraine and China; we all know who brokered that.
His cynical manipulation of the black voters is also terrible, the 1994 crime bill was particularly onerous and that was legislation that was drafted by Biden himself.
Then there's all the rapes, and gropings. The man has a worse METOO than Bill Clinton and the fact that's ignored is evidence that entire movement was political motivated and exceptionally partisan.
Dementia is sad, it's a terrible disease and to be frank you were lucky that she passed before it got worse. I've seen it go to the point where they totally go, lose all speech, movement and the ability to eat.
It's an awful affliction, and the reason I support assisted death.
That being said, fuck Joe Biden. His desire to enrich his family has threatened the stability of the whole world, and he has a lot of blood on his hands.
I have no sympathy for him.

He's trying to hold it together and pretend like this is a hard decision for him but it never was in doubt.
Singh needs this election as badly as Trudeau. The transition from CERB to EI has not gone through the house yet, everyone who is still on the CERB is going to be fucked in a month's time.
That's a rare opportunity for Singh, he can campaign on restoring the CERB with retroactive payments for the ones that were missed. That would occur 2 months before Christmas as well, it's a massive chance for him to get more seats, if not get himself elected outright.
The gamble for him is that will the very people who he pretends to care about blame him for causing an election and preventing their transition to EI, or will they be blinded by the fact that they'll get thousands of dollars if they vote for him?
My gut instinct says it's the latter, and I'm sure old Jughead feels the same way.
Batten the hatches and make ready your meme cannons.
It's election time.

So... Ransack the Universe by Collective Arts?

9
canaratgetsomepie 9 points ago +9 / -0

That's just a Collective Arts ad.
Ransack the Universe is one their beers. It's the hoppiest shit you've ever tasted, it's awful and it goes for $3.50 a pint at the LCBO, more than $10 in bars.
It's progressive as fuck and routinely makes sure to promote beers entirely made by women as if that makes any difference. You can guess how those taste.
It's the classic nouveau-brewery, they make way too many kinds of beer and while they're sure to jump onto any and all trends they do them very poorly.
The only cool thing about them is their can artwork.
As far as Communism goes they're Toronto Commies, only into the ideals for cool points.
Fucking "craft" breweries these days, I swear to God.

They almost never do but that doesn't stop them.
I think the only time they had sufficient finances in recent history was for Mulcair.
It would be a smart one for them to trigger the election. Just remember, if the throne speech fails there's no transition for the people on CERB so a lot of people will be really desperate when they vote; perfect for the vultures in the NDP.

10
canaratgetsomepie 10 points ago +10 / -0

They didn't extend the CERB so they gave the NDP everything they wanted except for their line-in-the-sand.
They can't support the Throne Speech without looking like they have no integrity whatsoever.

19
canaratgetsomepie 19 points ago +19 / -0

Looks like it's an election.
Unless Jagmeet Singh is the most craven man in the country, which is entirely possible it's an election.
This Throne Speech will be rejected. They've violated the key demands for all of the major parties, the CPC have already announced they're going to vote against it and I'd expect all the other parties to follow suit apart from the Greens.
Should be interesting, whomever can motivate their base to go out and vote in the middle of a lockdown, with a surge in cases and massive lines at all polling stations, outside the building and in the cold will win the fucker.
Fabulous. Just fucking fabulous.
