Have they paid back that 50 millionish preliminary payment yet or have they funneled it out of the country?
I shouldn't be asking that. Everyone knows the answer.

Indians love IT for immigration purposes because you don't have to be great with the language and it's simple to learn. You just have to be able to stand the job.
Coding was like that in the early 2000's, there was a massive surplus of applicants and a lot of the jobs had been off-shored (although they rapidly came back to the country once companies realized the code they'd paid for was terrible.)
Indians think it's a high-paying job in this country as well because there's a well-established India-to-Canada immigration industry that doesn't really care about what happens to their customers so long as they're paying. There's an unbelievable number of Indian international students in this country, blowing all of their savings with no chance of getting their permanent residency because they were sold a dream by a scam-y company.
As I say, our immigration system is a mess.

It's shocking how badly they've depressed the wages in that sector. You can get over 250% of your Canadian salary by moving to the States if you can stand IT.
The immigration schemes in this country are just a mess at the moment. It's the government letting massive numbers of people in for jobs that were unfilled 25 years ago, but times have changed.

They really are setting Canadian records at this point.
Imagine a job where you get summers off, work 35 hours a week and get six figures for it but still caring so little about your duty that you'd be doing your best to embarrass your employers on social media with the idea that you could get them to let you go back to working 20 hours a week from the comfort of your home, for the same salary.
If the OPC were to go right after the teachers and slash their salary, I think they'd be surprised about the popularity they'd receive.
They are the most lazy and entitled people on the sunshine list and that list includes MPPs and some city councilors even.
They are unbelievable.

He will be in a healing lodge within the year.
Then back to segregated maximum security prison after assaulting the staff at the healing lodge, I'd wager.
I'm not one for the death penalty because the government is too retarded to wield that kind of power but there's some cases where it's just better to rid yourself of the problem.
His crimes are disgusting. He should never be given another chance.

I actually liked Trump going into their 2016 election but I never predicted this would happen in my wildest dreams.
It's just peace in the Middle East. I've spent my entire life waiting for some dumbass country to nuke Israel and end up destroying the world. Israel has always seemed to be on the brink of war since far before I was born, it just seemed inevitable.
Then Trump just rolls into office and makes peace in the Middle East happen within 4 years. He didn't even make it look difficult, he just kind of went there and did it.
I have no explanation for any of this. He made it look very easy, to the point where I question why the hell no other US President did it.
He deserves that Nobel Prize and the press should be sucking his dick for what he's accomplished.
Fuck me has he ever been a great President.

That's their way of saying "Chinese supremacy over the world has come and you can't stop it, nor should you try to stop it. Just accept the current situation."
They wouldn't be using such strident language if they didn't know they were already fucked. The States is fucking them over, India is looking to decouple and if we do so as well that's half a trillion in trade surpluses gone.
The sooner we take care of the matter the better. The CCP can go fuck themselves.

That's a damn divisive move ahead of the election. This is going right into what will be the country's most poisonous throne speech in our short history.
He isn't doing this for the sake of black business owners, he's doing this for the sake of saying "the other parties shot down this measure for black business owners" when he's on the election campaign.
This election is going to be dark.

I hope they do, to be honest. I can't take any more US elections, every one of them is crazier than the last.
Here's the shit that's happened in the 2020 edition so far: the House of Congress impeached for no reason, a massive Iranian terrorist was blown up, there's been a pandemic, a lockdown for no reason, over 100 days of riots for no reason, a massive social justice push in sports, all of the terrorist warehouses in the world magically caught fire and blew up in the same week, we're on the brink of a 3rd world war, and peace magically broke out in the Middle East with Israel normalizing relations with multiple Islamic countries.
Their democracy is out of control. I'd take to the streets and celebrate if the Americans announced that the line-of-succession would be Trump-Trump Jr-Barron and I'd never have to experience another of their elections again in my life.
Canadian elections are traumatic enough without having to be next-door to theirs.

There's a homeless native apartment around there I think, I'd guess she was running home.
Although considering that all the women involved were charged with breach of release conditions, I'd guess that none of them had any fear of being caught because they know they won't face any serious punishment.

Yes. I've seen that guy's tweets. He is very, very, factually incorrect.
The man is a dumbass who raised a serial-rapist as a son. Even if you're a full-blown neo-nazi you'd think he'd be fucking ridiculous.
He's one of those dipshits who picked up on the Black Hebrew Israelite lunacy with a healthy dose of "we're the true Egyptians" thrown into the mix.
He is factually incorrect. He is severely factually incorrect.

He's actually stolen the PPC's immigration policy.
You can't expect to win anything in this country without promising family reunification immigration. Even Bernier knows that.
Immigrants have families, and like it or not they won't vote for anyone who will prevent them bringing their families to the country. If anything, most of their push for increased immigration is purely because they want their families here with them, particularly their elderly parents and grandparents so they can ensure they're able to take care of them in their infirmity.
I understand that its a massive burden on our system, but it was fucking short-sighted to believe that we could use immigration to fix a problem like our birthrate, gaining increased productivity from both the immigrants and not losing any from the woman. Immigrants have parents too, and many of them grew up with a housemother to whom they're insanely devoted (which is something that people who grew up in double-income households do not understand.)
They are not going to let their mother spend her final years alone and separated from her child by an ocean.
Immigrant communities want increased family reunification and they care about that more than any other policy.
The only way to cut immigration runs through decreasing economic migration and increasing the percentage of family reunification immigration.
The first step to getting yourself out of a hole that you've dug is to stop digging.
I like the policy. It makes sense.

How much money do you think he saved?
We all know that an hour-long session with Robin DiAngelo is $30,000.
Guessing that's for about 50 people max, and as there's 3 million people working for the US I'd say that giving them all diversity training would cost a ridiculous amount of money.
Even if it was a session for 500 people at a time, that would still be a ridiculous amount of money.
That's for a top-end trainer though. I'm sure that the lower end would be much cheaper but even then, it's a ridiculous amount of money.
I'm quite curious as to how much gets spent per year on diversity training in Canada? It can't be a small amount of money either.
It's time to stop wasting tax dollars, and business' dollars in all of this useless bullshit. Just when you think Trump can't get any better he gets better.

I was real fucking young when I learned about the difference between the injected polio vaccine and the oral one. I think there was an exhibit, or short film at the science centre, the injected one works but the oral one keeps having problems with transmitting live viruses.
Which is why only the injected vaccine is used in the first world.
Unlike the Gates-funded "philanthropic venture" which is making sure that people take the oral vaccine with the intent of "eradicating polio" in poorest regions of the world.
Strange how he caused those outbreaks when the option to give the injected vaccine was always available to him.
There is something fishy about Gates.

I don't even want to think about what the wake of WWII did to the world.
It was like all of the Wiemar degeneracy exploded but was attributed to the Nazis, both in the media and worse in philosophy.
When the average degen was wanking to books about joy divisions, Foucault was wanking to the idea of being viciously dominated by super-villains.
Modern philosophy, in particular feminist philosophy is women jilling to the same kind of thing, then writing about how it's wrong.
Expressed entirely in terms of the TV shows and movies that she's watched, because that's the general quality of research that you find in women's studies departments these days.

Just remember.
This shit is all based on Foucault. He was the influential philosopher who spawned all of this bullshit. He was obsessed with the relationships of power, and how the idea of domination and submission could be applied to society at large.
Needless to say, he was also obsessed with extreme gay bondage and S n M.
One shudders to think of the night when he ended up with HIV. From all accounts the shit he was getting into in those days was hideous.
The entire idea that society is based purely on uneven power relationships comes from a guy who based his entire philosophy on his extreme fetish.
Foucault is fucked. I have no idea how that idiot is so fucking influential.

I'm into it.
I don't even want to know what's going on with QAnon at this point.
At first I was sure it was a larp, then there was the Bronfman cult being busted, the Epstein, then Maxwell, and now it seems like there's a ton of kids being rescued from sex traffickers on a daily basis.
If those cunts turn out to be right then I might lose my mind.
I'm just trying my best not to think about Qtards at this point. I actually fear what they'll do if the doomsday scenario of Trump winning a landslide then slowly losing to mail-in voting over the next few weeks.
They think that Trump is the only thing standing between the kids of the world and a child-raping, torturing, and killing cult of elites.
How will they react if they think that their saviour was deposed by that same cult?
I hope that it isn't a prank. This is quite serious.

Every single one of those dummies who were just so sure they'd be able to get away with destroying everything and trying to kill or maim cops is suddenly in deep shit.
Barr just announced the other day that they've got a large team combing through all of the riot footage and that every one of them who did something criminal would face justice. All of it, and there was an insane amount of footage. They streamed everything they did live. Everything.
There's going to be an awful lot of anti-fa and BLM going to US federal prison over the next few months. They may even have an election that's free of the threat of violence yet.

It's actually pretty racist.
The same mutation in the bloodstream which makes them so perfect for living in malaria-infested areas also makes them very susceptible to coronavirus, apparently.
It's almost like this was an incomplete bioweapon designed to clear Africa or something. Almost like someone was planning on colonizing that continent and stripping it of its ample resources.
Does anyone know a country that would be interested in something like that? Is there any country currently loaning African nations tons of money that they can never pay back?

3
canaratgetsomepie 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's the point.
The candidate is Kamala Harris. This is just a smoke-show to keep the attacks off her for now.
Trust me, in the first debate Joe Biden gets lobbed questions but doesn't do great. In the VP debates, Kamala Harris will be praised. In the third debate Biden will face hard questions and seem confused, out-of-it, and unfit for office. He will resign and reveal he's just (lol) been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and that he's dropping out for Harris.
He'll be praised for his service while Trump will be vilified for treating an obviously unwell man harshly and mocking him.
Kamala Harris will face one debate with Trump where the questions are given to her in advance and the attack that Tulsi used against her successfully is the one attack that Trump cannot use as it reminds everyone of her "law and order" background.
It's a dicey path to victory, but it could work.

I wonder how many of them just seethed when they read that slide.
It drives me nuts.
"A white supremacy system." "Racism involves one group having the power to carry out systematic discrimination through the institutional policies and practices of the society and by shaping the cultural beliefs and values that support those racist practices and policies."
That actually burns my eyes.
A system of white supremacy, or a white supremacist system. The second mishmash would take quite a while to rewrite in any coherent way.
It's a crime against the English language and to make matters worse, spell-checks and grammar checks are automatic. The person who made those slides saw that their grammar was atrocious and didn't even care.
That kind of thing is just a slap in the face for a teacher (or it used to be, at least.)
It's just so lazy, and offensively ignorant. It must have been hard to shut up during that training session, I'll say that much.

The New York Times certainly does love to try their best to spin an unspinnable story in favour of the Anti-fa guy.
It was self-defense, he was about to be maced. The Trump supporters planned on driving around Portland shooting everyone with paintballs and may have gone through areas where protests occur nightly (who knows if they planned on running them over?) The Trump supporter he killed was about to murder a black man because he was racist, according to the Anti-fa guy.
He was a trained de-escalator who was forced to act. He's a professional snowboarder. He thought the guy was pulling a gun.
Meanwhile, it's an indefensible story. A guy who brought his own daughter to a violent riot and who was out on bail for street racing while hammered, with a loaded gun in the car executed a Trump supporter who was walking home, not bothering anyone in a sneak attack just died in a shootout with the police.
The New York Times' fall from grace is disgusting. It used to be so credible.
