Imagine being me, being straight and constitutional-republican-conservative in Canada. This country has been turned into a shithole by the left and most canadians hating themselves.

Our parliamentary system is a shithole too. A republic is the only way forward.

Why wouldn't that not surprise me.

I got people I know that won't talk politics unless they outnumber whoever they're wanting to debate with to try and win by numbers instead of rationalizing their position.

They don't want to defend their position because they've never really thought about it and just accepted slogans from leftist msm. The dissonance is so daunting they don't want to have anything to do with it.
