I look at what's happening down south, and all those Republicans distancing themselves from Trump, and telling people to vote for them to hold the Senate. For what? Their preferred candidate was Marco Rubio, the man wanted to give free citizenship to illegal immigrants, literally a sell out.
The same here in Canada. Mainstream conservatives tell us to sell out our spiritual heritage, and historical identity, to placate the liberals. Peter Mackay was the favourite, and we ended up with Erin O'Toole as a consolation.

Canada could expand its programs by borrowing more money and leveraging our assets, and implement wealth taxes, but a multicultural country consisting of a 25% immigrant population means your basically transferring wealth to foreigners and dividing it up according to race and religion.

Other than the usual suspects (Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver), Quebec is the bane of the right-wing movement in Canada. Their conservatism ends with protecting their language, everything else is liberalism, and on top of that, they are hostile to religion. We can estimate perhaps around 1/3 of the conservatives are religious, and yet we have an entire province that is hostile to even Christianity.
Of course, I've heard people mention that Quebecois are supposedly racist, or xenophobic. A province of xenophobic Francophones that hate religion, and English.
It's like the worse combination of liberalism and conservatism. Thoughts?
