Thanks for the question madly_aloof.
Canadian forces are in Ukraine as military instructors and also stationed in Baltic republics. This was repeatedly acknowledged by RF. Our former foreign affairs minister is banned from RF for other reasons equally concerning diplomatic reality.
The rest of your comment is a great contribution and I agree with you fully realizing that forums by nature can not be covering all aspects of discussion.
Thank you for the links, I would also highly recommended those to all. Lukashenko is enduring color revolution and globalist pressure from few directions. Yes Canada forces presence in region is destabilizing. When Warsaw pact was dismantled current situation eas not agreed
Thanks for keeping discussion going. It's difficult to sum up centuries of events. (I wasn't aware of MacKay, interesting!)
Look up "Pale of Settlement" then Bolshevik revolution. Not all Warsaw pact joined NATO. Ukraine didn't get admitted but has status just to allow say Canadians to come in. Under post war many Ukrainians migrated to Canada (V Freeland) bringing their heritage here and that's not only perogeys.
If I may humbly suggest to those of curious minds to look up info on Canadian Siberian Expeditionary Forces. Vladivostok has few graves there with our veterans in it.
One of many untold moments in history contributing to current international political spectrum.
