Rob was a legend, do not be brainwashed by CBC's propaganda. City council hated him because he was slashing fundings left and right. He was getting rid of all the unnecessary spending which means less money for the corrupt city council.
I don't live in Toronto but everyone I know who lived there as long-term residents loved Rob.
