Why would any reasonable person get tested for Covid? There's no treatment for it.
The only thing that you will get out of a positive test are instructions to self-isolate for 14 days. And, you'll be forced to do so, even if you fully recover in a few days.
So why, then, would anybody voluntarily get tested?
My employee demands it.
You mean employer, not employee, right?
That's different because you don't have a choice. A lot of people get tested voluntarily.
Yeah, yeah. Employer.
Mine did too. Oh well, got the afternoon off.
Well it was actually kind of stupid and a giant waste of time. What had happened was I left the province and came back and "needed to get a covid test" but if I had shown no symptoms, I could continue to work. By the time I got my covid test, a week had already passed. By the time I had got the results, the like "14" days had nearly expired (I think it was day 12 of 14).
In other words...My job ordered me to waste their time.
naturally, I obliged.
