Got a flyer in the mail for the Sport Chek "Winter Ready" clothing line... the front page consists of 2 black models, and the interior has literally only 1 white guy, the rest are asian, black, or mixed.
This youtube video basically covers it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHilxEiSg0k
Is this what white privilege feels like?
"Minorities" must be making a killing in the modelling business replacing white people.
Honestly JUST YESTERDAY I saw a fat woman on the cover of COSMOPOLITAN magazine in a store, then got my flyers in the mailbox and thought about doing a collage and asking if it could be any more obvious that there is some type of conspiracy.
It's like ... a model is intended to represent the target buyer and be someone they can relate to and/or aspire to be, IF ONLY the buyer had those products. But ... I don't want to be Black, Brown, Yellow, Fat or Libtarded, so, I guess they don't want me to buy those products ... they're not "for me".
TV is dying because there are so many minority characters that White people don't relate to them anymore and are no longer watching. When ABC announced 17 of 21 fall shows would feature Black characters and one was about a transgender, produced by Ryan Seacrest (Kardashians, American Idol) Proctor and Gamble ( TV's biggest advertiser ) fired their CEO ( remember the gay Tide commercials? ) and brought the old one out of retirement to undo their 10% stock point loss (billions) and the first thing he did was threaten to pull ads from ABC if there would be any Seacrest shows. That's actually why American Idol was cancelled.
So, the retail and other sectors using non-White models will suffer. Let's see how long this trend continues before they realize they screwed-up.
I bought an electric shaver after the Gilette man-hating commercial.
Good points. The Jeffersons and Even Cosby ( notwithstanding later trouble ) were great shows with majority Black casts which gave Blacks positive role models and were watched faithfully by Whites. But the characters "could have been white" with exception of a few episodes of Jeffersons with racial prejudice themes,
and the average middle-class White adult and teen could relate to the characters and their lifestyles, contrary a Black character who grew-up in the projects admid drug-gang drive-by shootings and whose mother is a crack addict prostitute.
The seem ignorant about the old Oscar Wilde quote:
"Life imitates Art"
When Cosby and Jeffersons were on TV, the show COPS wasn't, because it didn't need to be. It was only after the glamorization of "crack dealing" penetrated the Black community through movies in the late 80s and early 90s and so it became cool for the Black teens who realized they couldn't play pro-level basketball or rap. Joe Biden's Crime Bill helped put thousands of them in prison.
