tldr: the left hates the right, and vice versa.
So wouldn't everyone be happier living along side those who align with their political views?
Not a hard question, and I think it would make peoples' lives easier on both sides of the political spectrum.
I already moved to an extremely conservative part of the prairies. People are nicer, employment rate is higher, and it's very family focused. It sucks our tax dollars in our area will overwhelmingly be pulled away to be spent in places I'll most likely never even visit, except for the odd work trip.
On the bright side, my property taxes are reasonable for once, and those aren't going 50% towards police funding to try and keep the natives in line. Moving out of Winnipeg was a great decision.
Thanks, moved from Canada's second largest rez (Saskatoon) before that lol.
Look up the Mennonite belt in Manitoba. Morden, Carmen, Steinbach, Winkler, Altona, Niverville.
Some are close enough to commute to Winnipeg for work, some aren't.
