At any rate, the lockdown thing is not a pure top-down authoritarian thing. The mainstream media has done a masterful job of manufacturing consent among the general public. Noam Chomsky, a leftist, has talked about how the media manufactures consent in the general public 28 years ago. People in my personal life have been thoroughly brainwashed by CNN, NBC, MSDNC, CBC, Global News, CP24, etc. These are not twitter bots. These are people I know in real life who drank the kool-aid.
