O'Toole states in his little pamphlet that 'if unemployment remains high' the immigration stream will focus more on 'family reunification'. Super - more mouths to feed on the public dime. But hey that's apparently doing us a favour because instead of competing against us for jobs, they will just sit on our benefits for all time. That is so much better for us economically lol.
"Canadians also know that our healthcare system is not as great as some make it out to be. Being next door to the United States and saturated by coverage of American politics, we often make the mistake of thinking that the badly broken U.S. system is the only alternative to the status quo.** It’s time we started looking at other
advanced countries – from Australia to Scandinavia – that provide universal healthcare far better than we do**. "
Nice Bernie Sanders impression, Erin. If the US system is so 'badly broken', why do Canadians go there for treatment so often? 10 years ago my father became really ill and needed to have a procedure done for his MS, but they didn't offer it in Canada. We had to take him to Seattle to get it done. It cost him 10k, but he recovered and is still alive today because of it. Thanks America. Maybe allowing the private sector to compete more in the healthcare system is the answer, hey? Let's focus less on making everything 'universal' (code for single choice commie healthcare) and bring CHOICE into the conversation.
As for the personal BS " I am the kind of person who would join a cult" it just illustrates my point further - you can't actually argue my points. If the CPC actually embraced smaller government, substantially reduced immigration levels, an end to this COVID nonsense (maybe look to Sweden for that, hey Erin?) and a commitment to allowing private sector competition in education and healthcare, we might have a reason to vote for them. "Status quo" is the perfect descriptor for the CPC under Mr. O'Toole.
Oh I am familiar with this bullshit pamphlet.
