Why are we giving permanent residence to people who don't even LIVE here in the first place? PR should be an upgrade for people who currently live here on temporary work visas and have proven themselves. In fact there are plenty of people already in Canada applying for PR and getting rejected.
Were there no Canadians that wanted to be a massage therapist, accountant, nurse, or cyber security worker?
I love how we have to compete for our jobs with the ENTIRE WORLD.
Companies complain they can't find experienced candidates but put no little effort into training or developing new people. Like for cyber security for instance, they want people to have the CISSP certificate. But you need 5 years of experience to get the certificate.
