Based on the cheers emanating from Le Reddit about how you gotta wear a mask everywhere, snitch on people, no gatherings inside, outside, in space, underwater, it's going pretty well for the panicky idiots who believed the same hype back in May about how we'd be at billions dead in every city by summer.
DUDE... I was just reading the comments on Twitter about the B.C. provincial wide mask mandate and couldn't believe how excited everyone was... Definitely a sobering experience.
I had faith that the public would push back against a fascist/overreaching government at the start of this, but man... Society is falling for it hook line and sinker. There's no talking sense into anyone these days. Even those who know it's bullshit say "well, it's the law now... Just wear a mask"
I was just reading r/ontario and its not looking good, the majority of people are begging to be locked down. Then you have the virtue signaling Karen's and their controlled husband's. I don't see a resistance, at least not in the big cities.
Trump had four years to clean shit up in the US, and nothing much changed. Here the media is bought and paid for, so the average person isn't even getting real information anymore.
I’m scheduled to fly to South America from Toronto in 2 weeks. I hope all this lockdown stuff doesn’t affect travel. I need a break from Covid and cold weather.
One of my favorite cities. Hard to explain. Brazil is a fun place. The city is big! Great buzz and vibes. Very cosmopolitan. Super people. Fantastic food. No PC bullshit - girls are girls and guys are guys. Great restaurants and lots of things to do. Fantastic weather and beaches. Good place to explore parts of South America from. It has a reputation for crime but it’s like any other place - learn what’s safe and what isn’t. Speaking a little Portuguese is a plus - and it’s not too hard to pick up.
Different. São Paulo is the more ‘serious’ city, it’s the commercial and economic hub. Rio is also an important city but has more of a reply for fun. Both great places. And Very inexpensive now.

It's not gonna happen.

You into trannys?
Only the ones in my amplifiers.

Is it better than Rio?
I'm thinking about escaping to Colombia or South America soon.

Santa Catarina. I haven’t been there but apparently it and Curitiba in the south are very nice.
