Man, reddit is so full of "paid-activists" that it's not even worth the time unless you're in smaller corners of the site. Left-wing activist groups literally pay rooms full of people to sit in offices to push support of far-left political causes on all corners of social media to give the illusion that there's a lot of public support for them.
This is proven and a fact that a lot of people are unaware of.
